Funny how changing such a small thing makes such a big difference.

So what you're saying is a huge committee, of highly intelligent and capable people, didn't realize this?

It's General Motors of course they didnt.

Thank you!!!! This is the problem with many recent Chevy's. I've been saying it for years now. My eyes just don't know how to look at it with the bowtie between the grills.

Yeah, let's make it more common. Whooo!

Which part is lol the huge, the intelligent or the capable?
"A small group of unintelligent and incapable people" didn't have the same sarcastic zing I needed!

Huge - not so much. You have one lead designer who comes up with (typically) 3 whole exterior themes, then one gets picked, and then it's a matter of making things work with the least possible impact to the design theme. It's not like you have a bunch of artsy types and exec types sitting around a table formally focus-grouping where to put the badge.

That's rather interesting to know, well they screwed the pooch with this badge placement.

Unfortunately that seems to be Chevy's corporate grille :/

It's my only real complaint.

I'm still not a fan of the extra upper mini grille.

That actually looks much MUCH better

Nah, I think Chevy really does committee design, it’s become more common than it used to be. All of their recent designs lack continuity, cohesion and integration. They lack a solid, single vision. I first noticed it with the C7. The new Malibu is their first step in the right direction though.
